Equips the trainee with basic knowledge and skills to accurately and objectively carry out routine meteorological and related observations.

The training aims at providing the student with the skills and knowledge contained Basic Instruction Package for Meteorological Technicians

Minimum Entry Requirements

O –level certificate with, mean grade C (or equivalent) with credits in English, Mathematics and Physics /Physical sciences.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion the trainee will be able to demonstrate the requisite meteorological observational competencies.
