This course is aimed at upgrading existing knowledge and honing skills of trainers in Meteorology. It is necessary for the trainers to keep themselves abreast with the changes or latest developments in their respective genres and keep pace with the ever changing technology and thus it is crucial for trainers to continue developing their capacity and ensure they are competent as prescribed by the World Meteorological Organization Framework "Guidelines for Trainers in Meteorological, Hydrological and Climate Services" - WMO No.1114
