Apply now for the Management by e-learning course Part 1 – Essentials of Management – Beginning September 19th 2011

The ‘Management by e-learning’ course developed by the UK Met Office, and supported by WMO, is designed for mid-level managers of NMHSs in developing countries, or for those employees who want to increase their knowledge of management skills, providing a foundation for further career development. Topics include effective team working, planning, performance management, and many others.

To date, over 100 participants have completed the web-based training. Following feedback from previous participants the course has been amended and divided into two parts. The first part will be the ‘Essentials of Management’ course* which will run for 20 weeks with 2 weeks for each of the ten modules.

The next run of this course begins on the 19th September 2011 and applications will be considered up until Friday 2nd September .
