Welcome to the WMO e-learning website!
Purpose:
This site gives WMO members access to online resources for training in meteorology, hydrology and associated sciences. It is intended as a focus for the exchange among WMO members of ideas and experiences in using e-learning, and as a demonstration of how the resources can be used in practice.
Courses:
Online courses in weather forecasting, climatic data management, and statistics in applied climatology (SIAC) are hosted on this site. They are maintained by the Met Office College and the SSC with support from the Met Office and WMO.
WMO e-learning resources database:
This site hosts an e-learning resources database for online resources relating to meteorology, hydrology and associated sciences. Feel free to add your resources to the database (you'll need to set up an account and log in).
